Not Your Grandmother’s Brooch ...

Tis the season of conspicuous jewelry and more is more when it comes right down to it.

Worn in multiples (like 3 from Mom’s archives) or unusual placements - closing a cami or a wrap - these become instant outfit updaters.

OR …

Wear one important piece like Armando’s newest 'Koko' (see left) that, by the way, slips easily onto a chain to convert to a pendant when your mood swings

AND

then go crazy with a bracelet like 'Pastis' (see below).

Holiday Joy,
Koko

Koko,

I don't know who you are, but you made my day!
That picture of Armando was taken in Florida at the beach of Key Biscane.
The other guy in the picture is Henk Brinkman from Holland and he too made Horse Shoe Nail Jewelry.
Actually it's me!! I have very fond memories of Armando; he was a great guy !

I do believe I may have tracked down the maker of my favourite necklace given to me by by parents in the early seventies ! Dad was an architect in Portsmoouth (UK) but travelled regularly to Holland to see modern building design. Did your paths cross ? My sister worked at Heals in London and some of my gifts came from there too I believe. the symbol on the horseshoe looks like that on Henks'
